inspired by Roo's blog.http://dearhsdogblog.blogspot.com/ We proudly adopted Brodan from the wonderful staff @ the Barrie,On. SPCA 01/24/11. Brodan now lives with my wife & I. Brodan's father was a German Shorthaired Pointer and his mother was an American Pitbull. He's almost 12 yrs old. Still, faster than a cheetah & more powerful than a locomotive. Loves frisbee!

Sleeping Beauty
Not a creature was stirring, not even a squirrel.
Dreaming about yogurt containers, and Jiffy PB,
Sleeping so soundly,
no frisbee, nor wubba
could free him from his tranquil purr

Closing the Cottage / Inspecting the River
While Dad was busy taking the pump out ; I gave the river one last good check over. Of course the river was a little cooler than I last remember. Didn't stop me from going in.

Hi Jo-Anne
Good morning Jo-Anne,
I'm doing well. The summer has gone by fast. Mom has gone back to School Teaching and Dad has started a new job so life has returned to normal. Still having fun running after squirrels & rabbits. Playing lots of frisbee. I got a new muzzle that is brown and replaces my yellow one. I also got a new leash.I'm getting older but it hasn't slowed me down at all but sometimes I put myself to bed earlier now. Bedtime is usually about 9 pm for me. Dad and I will be planning one more trip to the cottage to turn the water off for the season and prepare it for winter. Other than that life is pretty normal. Your friend, Brodan. xoxoxo
